ARMOR-COAT Finish
Stonebridge products are all made from a durable steel base and finished using a unique ARMOR-COAT® process specifically designed to provide maximum corrosion resistance and UV protection. As such, all Stonebridge products have been tested to BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 5 in independent salt spray testing – making all products extremely durable in external and coastal applications. Stonebridge products have also been tested and approved for use with Accoya wood.
New to the Stonebridge range, the Forged Steel finish offers a textured appearance with a stunning blend of black and mid silver tones. The durable powder coat finish brings an authentic and rustic look full of character and charm.
Specification
Designed for use with casement windows, casement stays feature a stay arm and two locator pins. When the window is open, the pin locates in one of the holes of the stay arm to hold the window open. When closed, both pins are located within the stay arm. The stay arm features multiple holes to allow for adjustment.
Please note:Â Due to moving parts, natural wear and tear may occur on the pin and location holes after prolonged use.
Universal Stay Pin
Our optional universal stay pin should be purchased for enhanced security within the home and replaces the standard stay pin. The universal stay pin has been designed with a pin and cap. With the window in the closed position and both pins located within the stay arm, the cap should be placed over the pin and secured with the allen key provided.
Product Care and Maintenance
Stonebridge products should be cleaned occasionally with warm soapy water and dried with a soft cloth. For external and coastal applications, this process should be carried out more frequently.
We strongly recommend against the use of solvent cleaners, household polishes or aerosols when cleaning Finesse pewter products – this may cause irreversible damage to the product. For more information, please follow our simple care and maintenance guide.
