Multipoint Handle
The Stonebridge range of multipoint handles are supplied in pairs with fixings and a spindle to cater for wooden and uPVC doors up to 90mm thick. Multipoint handles are available in three handle variations with sprung and unsprung options.
- Entry – designed with two euro profile lock backplates to allow for locking from both sides of the door. Available in sprung and unsprung options.
- Patio – designed with one euro profile lock backplate and one blank backplate to enable locking from the internal side of the door, enhancing security in the home. This handle is unsprung.
- Passage – designed with two blank backplates without euro locking profiles and typically used in applications whereby locking is not required e.g biparting patio doors where one door is only to be used for entry. This handle is unsprung.
Our multipoint handles are designed for use with a multipoint locking system (not supplied by Stonebridge – please speak to your joiner).
Sprung Vs Unsprung
Sprung multipoint handles are designed with a spring cassette within the handles backplate to return the handle to its horizontal position after use. This type of handle is suitable for use with low quality locking systems. Unsprung multipoint handles are designed without a spring cassette and require a high quality locking system to return the handle to its horizontal position.
The visual different between both handle options is the dimensions of the backplate. Sprung multipoint handle backplates measure 240mm x 32mm. Unsprung multipoint handle backplates measure 250mm x 35mm.
Authentic Forged Steel
The new Forged Steel finish by Stonebridge is unlike any finish currently on the market. The unique powdercoat finish offers a textured appearance with a stunning blend of silver and black tones to bring an abundance of character and charm to the home.
ARMOR-COAT ® Finish
Made from a durable steel base, all Stonebridge products are finished using a unique ARMOR-COAT ® process to offer exceptional corrosion resistance and UV protection to withstand even the harshest conditions. The range has also been tested and approved for use with Accoya windows and doors.
